We have Alcantara, Suede, Leather, Carbon fiber leather these 4 different materials, and each material has different way of how to maintain it. Here is the details.

Alcantara: As we all know that Alcantara is a world famous band that made of synthetic material, it is very soft, durable and easy to care, if you need to know more about this material, you could check their official site. 

• Daily cleaning：Using a soft brush, a dry cloth, or a vacuum cleaner.
• Weekly cleaning: Run a slightly moistened white cotton cloth over it. avoid the use of printed absorbent cloths/papers as they can release ink onto the material.
• Yearly cleaning: To clean Alcantara steering wheel cover, you could use specific products, Like Fenice, James, Perrone. If you do not have these products, then you could follow these instructions:
  First, dust the material with care; Second, moisten a soft cloth or a sponge in clean water, wring it thoroughly and run it over the whole Alcantara steering wheel cover, making sure not to wet it excessively; Third, rinse the cloth or sponge and repeat as necessary. Leave to dry (overnight). Once dried, in order to restore the material, brush it delicately with a soft bristle brush.

Suede: Suede is also a synthetic material, which is not as soft as Alcantara, this suede material is not google suede, it is not the type of leather with a fuzzy, napped finish, the real Suede is animal skin, but our suede leather is more environmentally friendly.

Leather: Stitchingcover has two different of leather, one is real leather, and the other one is pu leather, real leather also called genuine leather, it is the animal skin; the other leather is called pu leather, also named with faux leather, synthetic leather, microfiber leather, it is synthetic material, more environmentally friendly. Both of leather steering wheel covers have 24 months warranty, and could last at least 2 years, if any quality problem happens, you will always get a full refund or resend. 

So how to maintain leather steering wheel covers?

• First, Do not leave your leather cover in your wet parking lot for a long time, such as one months or two, the leather may get mouldy;
• Second, mix warm water with dish soap, dip a soft cloth into it, wring it out, and gently wipe the leather surfaces.
• Then use a second clean, damp cloth to wipe off the soap. Dry with a towel.
• Actually leather steering wheel is very easy to maintain, after daily use it would become very nice, do not need extra time to clean it.
• But do remember, if your hand lotion has alcohols in it. Please do not use hand lotion on your leather steering wheel cover and if get exposed to the sun rays. Leather steering wheel cover will start get eaten away gradually by the alcohols contained in the product.

Carbon fiber leather: Carbon fiber leather is also a synthetic material, which is not the real carbon fiber, real carbon is hard, and our carbon fiber leather is soft so that could make the cover, but our carbon fiber is not as soft as other materials, so when you choose the design, you will find that only top&bottom section could customized with carbon fiber leather, sides cannot do carbon fiber leather because if with carbon fiber leather, it would be very hard to stuff the extra leather into the sides spoke, even if installed, there will be big folds here.

So how to maintain carbon fiber steering wheel covers?

• Carbon fiber steering wheel cover do not need extra care, Just wipe it with a damp towel, which can prevent it from accelerating aging and prolong its service life.
• Serious surface stains can be treated with a clean damp sponge dipped in a mild detergent solution and then allowed to dry naturally.
• Be careful not to wash with water.
