I bought this to fix the worn out suede on my stock 2005 (e46) M3 with the competition package. The fit is nearly perfect. This takes some time and patience to finish, but the seller has great videos on YouTube. There is a video specifically for the e46 wheels. Follow along with that and take your time and it will turn out great. I highly recommend taking the wheel off the car first. Do some searching on how to properly remove the wheel. This makes the whole process much easier. The materials are nice, though not on par with the suede on the sparco racing wheel I own. This suede material is probably synthetic. But I imagine it will last longer and it looks almost as good as the real thing. Overall, I highly recommend this product and am happy with the results.

This wrap is good quality. It completely changes 1. The feel of the car when driving it feels more luxurious than my old sock feeling alcantara. 2. The looks. Looks expensive to the average observer of your car. But what they don’t know is it was a $80ish upgrade. •personally I took my steering wheel off and did the stiching for about 3hours. It seems long but honestly it is fun while your doing it, you’ll totally enjoy it. • the wheel in my car took me like 2 hours to take out of my car bcuz of the hard time I had finding the release clips with a flat head screw driver. Idk if others have the same time consuming experience. • but Overall that’s just what I had to do, not all people take the steering wheel off. I’ll be honest I just really wondered what my car would look like w/out the wheel and this was my opportunity.

While the installation and work can be tedious and time consuming (took me ~ 2 -3 hours total time for sweat equity), you will also have a great sense of self-satisfaction in the final product! The end result is well worth the effort when you consider the hideously expensive cost of a new BMW M-Sport leather-wrapped steering wheel, as I believe the before/after results speak for themselves.

It looks ok but the seams are in bad place at 10:00 should have put them at5 or 6 clock feels funny at 10:00 .
