This review is for a cover on a 2015 Toyota Tacoma:
Overall I would say I am satisfied with this cover. I will be interested in how it looks over time. Cover has only been installed a couple of days, so we will see how it holds up in summer and winter conditions. Quality of leather appears to be good. Cover loses points for the perforation section not being the same length as the original. How hard would it be to add a couple inches to make it OEM-like. Overall cut of the pattern is acceptable. It is short in some areas and loose in others, but it could be adjusted as needed. Installation DEFINITELY requires removing the steering wheel from the car. Controls and plastic covers need to be removed to produce an "original look". Not a hard process. Double sided tape really does not work very well. Upholstery glue or Barge cement was needed to hold some of the corners and edges down. Since I was interested in the "original look" it took some time to complete the job. Stitched everything together loosely, then went back and tightened/adjusted/glued as needed. The extra time was worth it. In summary, the full leather cover for the Toyota Tacoma/4 runner is worth the consideration. Overall price is a bit high, ($102.00 after shipping and fees) but so far quality and fit seem good. I purchased this cover because I have customers who were interested in them for their cars. I wasn't about to sell them on the expense until I tried it out on my own car. So far, I would say this cover has promise.

I removed my steering wheel for this project much easier this way and you don’t have to worry about ripping the leather .

This is actually a review at the 18 month mark - and it’s holding up just like a new steering wheel. It’s not even showing wear (and I’m fat-handed so I’m rough on steering wheels). Stitching it on isn’t as difficult as it seems - just take your time and read all the instructions/watch the videos first. ***side note - the funky spot in the top middle is from me being lazy when I prepped - it isn’t a result of this product***

Great improvement over old steering wheel. Not hard to do but time consuming . Would be nice if there was more material for the wheel spokes would have made the install easier and nicer. Overall it came out pretty good.

I went into this project with literally zero stitching experience. Found a video on YouTube of someone who seemed to be a professional installing this wrap onto a Toyota steering wheel that looked exactly like the one on my 2014 Tundra. I used that video as a general guide but overall, this really wasn’t all that difficult. I would just advise people to take their time and not get in a hurry to get it installed. Make sure you’re happy with how it all lines up and make adjustments as you stitch it together.

Coming from someone who's never sewn anything before this, it was a challenge. But once I got the hang of it, went fairly easy. I love the look and feel of the black leather and red stitching.

A++ leather steering wheel cover for Tundra. Pros: good fit, quality material, price is fair, color is good. Cons: takes about 3-4 hours to stitch if you want a good finished product, need to watch a few videos to supplement the written instructions. Notes: need to apply the double-sided tape to all areas as instructions were showing to ensure the cover sticks to the concave areas of the steering wheel. Tucking the extra leather under the steering wheel trim was not too bad once you get it started. Great product, I would purchase again.

Fits 2021! Took a little over 5 hours. Sore fingers for a few days. But worth every penny! For something being touched everytime the entire time your in the truck.

Well worth the effort. If your reading reviews and even considering doing this just stop thinking about it and do it. Now that the work is done it was totally worth it. My SR5 has a completely upscale feel to it and the wrap is genuine leather that does not disappoint.

This was a bit difficult to install but once done fit and look great. I recommend setting aside a full afternoon. Package arrived with everything I needed and decent instructions. Great quality.

Looks and feels great. I'm a perfectionist and do things right the first time. I don't know how some people got this done in 3 hours?! Total time for me was about 6-7 hours without taking the wheel off. A lot of beer. A lot of cussing. A lot of you wanting to go inside and punch the wall. A sore back the next day. That said, the result is worth it. Definitely a huge improvement over that work truck plastic steering wheel. I didn't pay $47k for my truck to feel like a fleet truck inside. If done correctly and patiently(that means re- doing sections you think are not going to line up) this thing will look and feel better than a factory leather wheel.

It’s time consuming, took me about 3 hours but I was moving pretty quickly. Definitely take your time fitting in the beginning because that is the most important part. The 3 and 9 o’clock positions are going to give you the most trouble. I’ve attached pictures of the 3 o’clock position to show where the seam should be, which was a little confusing to me at first. The steering wheel cover makes my tundra feel like a new truck. Highly recommended!
