My original Model 3 headrest started peeling after about 2 years, which honestly surprised me a bit. I’m guessing it’s probably from natural oils over time—especially since I don’t have hair, so there’s direct contact pretty much all the time.I did try a headrest cover, but it didn’t really help much since it still seems to soak through eventually.Hopefully this newer leather material holds up better and doesn’t run into the same issue. I’ll keep using it and see how it goes, but so far it’s still holding up fine.
