It looks amazing, my steering wheel was falling apart and the leather was badly damaged so bought this to prevent further damage and to cover it up obviously 😅 needless to say, it looks amazing and with that being said it took a LONG time to make it so... took me approx. 2-3 hours to install was kinda of tricky but NOT impossible. Just need to set aside an afternoon and take your time, watch videos on YouTube, I seen a few guys installing this one on different cars and shared techniques and it helped ALOT. Now here I am and I'm all SMILES. Now just to see how long it will look this way, I'm going to take care of it though, makes the car look sporty-er and feels good. Don't over think it just do it....very pleased with product and myself for getting it done.

Wie bei vielen anderen S-Max Fahrer, hat sich auch mein Lederlenkrad nach etwa 5 Jahren angefangen aufzulösen. Die Beschichtung des Lenkrades ist nur ein Hauch und bröselte anfangs oben, dann auch an den Seiten Stück für Stück ab. Das fühlte sich unschön an und sieht noch unschöner aus. Ford wollte für die Sanierung des Lenkrades über 500€ haben und hätte die miese Erstausrüsterqualität zu diesem Preis durch einen vermutlich genauso miesen Ersatz getauscht. Das wollte ich dann doch nicht. Leider trauen sich aber auch die meisten Sattler an Lenkräder mit Heizung nicht ran und ein neu Beziehen des Lenkrades wäre nur über Versand möglich gewesen, was mich mit Aus- und Einbau, Ersatzlenkrad, Versand, etc. auch mind. 350€ gekostet hätte. Durch Zufall bin ich auf diese Alternative gestoßen und dachte, zu dem Preis kann man das durchaus mal probieren. Viel schlechter konnte es kaum werden. Das Ergebnis überzeugt aber auf ganzer Linie. Es ist nicht ganz gleichwertig mit einem echten Lenkrad, zumindest wenn man es weiß erkennt man es. Aber wenn man es nicht weiß, ist der Unterschied nicht sichtbar und wirklich kaum erfühlbar. Der Einbau ist nicht ganz einfach, ich hab 3 Stunden gebraucht. Die unteren beiden Teile sind einfacher und damit sollte man auch beginnen. Zuvor unbedingt die Lehrvideos dazu auf Youtube schauen. Der obere Ring ist etwas komplizierter und ich musste die Naht 3x wieder öffnen, bis die zwei Nahtstellen und der 12 Uhr Marker exakt gepasst haben. Jetzt sieht es aber wirklich top aus, fühlt sich gut an und passt ganz ordentlich. Der Zuschnitt ist nicht 100% exakt, an den beiden Hörnern sitzt der Bezug etwas straff und zwischen 11 und 01 Uhr sitzt er minimal zu locker. Fester nähen ging aber auch nicht, dann hätten sich die Kanten überlappt. Hier hätte der Bezug 1-2mm schmaler sein müssen. Aber das ist wirklich marginal und kaum zu erkennen. Für mich in Summe TOP und ich bin damit happy.

(2015 Ford Edge) This turned out extremely well, I already had the steering wheel trim pulled off for another project so that made the tucking aspect a breeze. This cover actually lines up nearly identical to the OEM cover in terms of cut. My only knock on this is the directions were a little unclear on the sewing part. A quick Google search got me sorted on that. I also wouldn't have minded a directional sticker or something since the cut was very similar front and back. Other than that, no real complaints. This is definitely a project that is time consuming for the stitching, I'd say a little over an hour maybe. I wish my sewing abilities were a bit better but the end results really look pretty decent. The needle and thread were the right size and nice and durable. I only used the adhesive in 5 small spots on the bottom, between the stitches and tucking it seemed unnecessary. The material itself is also much softer than I had anticipated, feels nicer than the OEM one, will be curious to see how it holds up.

The material appears to be of very good quality and the stitching (construction) on it is very good. Yes, it was quite a bitch to install. But, if you want a really well fitted custom look - you have to put a bit of an effort to get it. I highly recommend this product for Ford Fusion owners.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. THAT BEING SAID IT WAS A "PROCESS" GETTING IT TO FIT CORRETLY. I HAVE A 2015 FORD FUSION S AND I THINK MY FOAM STEERING WHEEL IS A LITTLE LARGE THAN THE MODEL THIS PRODUCT WAS INTENDED FOR. SO, THE STITCHING WAS DIFFICULT TO PERFORM BUT, IN THE END, I LOVE IT AND WOULD BUY AGAIN IF I HAD TO. IT'S BEEN ON THERE FOR A COUPLE MONTHS NOW AND IS STILL LOOKING GREAT.

I absolutely love the results! Please be aware that the installation will take a few hours if this is your first time. The hardest part for me was tucking the material under the trim pieces. Once that was complete the sewing was easy. I did have a second person help me with the long string on the top of the steering wheel so it didn't constantly get tangled. I would highly suggest doing this project if your steering wheel was worn out like mine. I also love that it gives it just a little bit of a sporty look and the thickness of the steering wheel feels perfect.

Its amazing i took 4 hours but it was because im a noob and it came out better feeling than a 2020 explorer st steering wheel. The factory wheel felt a little bit more in tact but only by 10% u cant even notice but the leather on this one is on par with mercedes steering wheels and I owned one for a couple years so i can tell and overall 9.3/10 better than most oem steering wheels
